Pricing FAQs

Modeled after the questions clients ask before sending their first debt for collection.

What does the standard RevRecoup price cover?

Standard pricing covers pre-legal debt recovery through the platform: intake, evidence organization, collector routing, in-platform status tracking, and success-based collection work. It does not include court filing, litigation, liens, or other legal enforcement unless you approve a separate custom quote.

Do I pay anything upfront?

No upfront platform fee is required to create an account or submit debts. The recovery fee is tied to collected funds. If a debt is not recovered in the pre-legal phase, there is no pre-legal recovery fee.

How are success fees calculated?

Success fees are percentage-based and depend on factors such as debt type, amount, age, documentation quality, debtor location, and collector assignment. RevRecoup shows the applicable recovery economics before the file is worked.

What happens if legal escalation is needed?

Legal action is not included in the standard pre-legal recovery workflow. If a collector determines that a disputed, complex, or non-responsive file may need legal action, the collector will provide a custom quote or refer the matter to an attorney partner. You must approve the quote and sign any separate legal agreement before legal work begins.

Can I review the collector and fee before committing?

Yes. The goal is to show the assigned collector, recovery economics, and any special terms before a file is actively worked. If a legal quote is needed later, that quote is presented separately for approval.

Do I sign a separate agreement for every debt?

No. Clients sign a standard RevRecoup collection agreement digitally after uploading their first debt. That first-time agreement is retained in the admin Agreements area and applies to future standard pre-legal submissions unless a separate legal or custom agreement is required.

How are recovered funds handled?

Recovered funds may be paid through the collector or directly to you depending on the assignment and payment path. If you receive a direct debtor payment, you must report it promptly so the file can be reconciled and any agreed recovery fee can be calculated.

Can older debts be submitted?

Yes. Older debts can be submitted, but age affects collectibility and may affect the economics or recommended strategy. Files with poor documentation, expired limitation periods, or active disputes may require review before work begins.

Is there a minimum debt amount?

Small debts can be reviewed, but recoverability depends on balance size, documentation, debtor contactability, and collector fit. Very small or weak files may be declined or routed to a portfolio/bulk workflow.

What if the debtor disputes the debt?

A dispute can pause or change the recovery path. The collector may request more documents, recommend closing the pre-legal file, or provide a custom legal quote if the facts support escalation.

Are there subscription or monthly fees?

Yes. Standard outsourced recovery remains success-based. RevRecoup Collect is an optional monthly subscription for clients who want first-party A/R workflow, imports, reminder drafts, debtor response links, reconciliation, and escalation handoff before files become outsourced recovery matters.

Can high-volume clients get custom pricing?

Yes. Clients with recurring volume, multiple business units, integrations, or enterprise reporting needs can request custom pricing and workflow terms.
